The Kalinga Scout Group is an active Scout Group in Charles S Snow District and would be happy for you to come and visit. The Scouting sections - supported by a team of Adult Leaders, and Parents and Supporters, - comprise:

Cub Scouts (7 yrs to 10 yrs, meet Wednesday 6.45 pm to 8.15 pm); and

Scouts (10 yrs to 14 yrs, meet Monday 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm).

The nearest Joey Scouts (6 yrs to 7 yrs) meet at Kedron Scout Group.
The nearest Venturer Scouts (14 yrs to 17 yrs) meet at Nundah-Northgate Scout Group.
The nearest Rovers (17 yrs to 26th birthday) meet at Burul Scout Group, Stafford Scout Group, Wavell Heights Scout Group
and Wilston Scout Group.

The Scout Group is located in KALINGA PARK, at the northern end of BERTHA STREET, KALINGA (see map).

The Kalinga Scout Group was formed at Kalinga Park in 1934, and has met in the Park since then, except for a few years early in World War II.

Did you know?  'Kalinga' derives from the aboriginal word 'Ngalin-nga', meaning `belonging to us'.
